Passover Seder 2012

In Leviticus 23: 2; 4 – 5 we read that the Passover is one of the holy convocations appointed by the Lord. Historically, the Passover is celebrated as a memorial to the Hebrew’s deliverance from Egypt. Prophetically, God in all His wisdom was pointing to the day when the ultimate Passover Lamb would be revealed. Jesus, the Lamb of God came and fulfilled this Feast.

Today, Christians celebrate the Passover in remembrance of what Jesus has done to deliver us from the bondage of sin. Do you know that the Communion we partake each month is a portion of the Feast during Jesus’ time?

This year on Mar 31, the Patchwork Sister is organizing a Passover Seder (order) for you to experience the whole works of this beautiful Feast. You will get to taste and understand the spiritual meaning of each element on the Seder plate.

We have started registration. Half of the seats are filled.

If you have been to a Passover Seder, I know you will appreciate this. If you have not, I strongly encourage you to participate. You will take the next Communion in a new light.

For details and registration, please call or email Shirley Wan. Seats are limited. Your school children may join in.
