Soup and Fleece Blanket Fellowship

 


Dear Patchwork Sisters,

Praise God for the cooler weather finally! 

We are so ready for “Soup and Fleece”!

Please join us for our annual Soup and

Fleece Blanket Fellowship coming up

in a few weeks.


Date: November 18, 2023 (Saturday)

Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Where: GPCCC Fellowship Hall


You are welcome to invite your family, friends 

and neighbors to join us for this event. 


Materials needed to make the blanket:

No-Sew Fleece kit

Fabric scissors

Blue painters tape

* We will have extra fleece kits available for those of 

you who may not have time to buy your fleece.


We will be deciding on where to donate the blankets 

this year. If you know of any non-profit organizations 

where we can donate the blankets, please let us know. 

We will take your suggestion into consideration.


You are welcome to bring food to share if

you like. Here are some suggestions:

* a pot of soup

* appetizers, finger food etc.

* desserts, pastries, cake, fruits, snacks etc.


We look forward to see more of you this year.

Card Making Fellowship & Pastor Appreciation Day

 

You are invited to a special card making fellowship on Sunday, October 8 (Pastor Appreciation Day) from 11:10 am- 12:30 pm in B207-208.  The DVD lesson on this day has been cancelled.  You are encouraged to make a card for one of our pastors or a friend in need of encouragement. Please join us even if you have not been able to attend class this quarter.  

October is considered national pastor appreciation month.  Let's shower our pastors and their families with appreciation for their faithful service:)

What: Amos: An Invitation to the Good Life - DVD Bible Study by Jennifer Rothschild (2022)

Class Description: Amos is often called "the prophet of doom", but he promoted the God-life, which is in fact the good life. Every condemnation he spoke serves to us as an invitation to "seek God and live" (Amos 5:4). Come to live an assured, faithful, chosen, humble, justly, prayerful, and hopeful life. This kind of living will bring us and others around us peace and true prosperity.
