Patchwork Sisters Prayer Meeting - Mar 22, 2015

We have a special meeting this quarter on Sunday 3/22 during the Sunday School hour (11:10-12:25) in room CO-203 (church office building). Since we do not have Sunday School this quarter, this will be a great opportunity to reconnect, praise God together, pray for each other. Invite your friends and new women and come prepared to be blessed!
To Him be all honor and praise,
Kathy

2014 Annual Patchwork Sisters No-Sew Fleece Fellowship

Please save the date: November 22nd, 2014 (Saturday)!

We will meet at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall  to make
beautiful fleece lap blankets. What a wonderful way to
spend the Saturday before Thanksgiving in Fellowship
and Thanks Giving to the Lord!

Grace Ganger is looking into some places (senior homes,
Hospice of the Valley, VA Hospital...) to donate the blankets
this year. We invite you to join us when we deliver the
blankets sometime in mid-December...more details to
follow later.

We will give a demonstration to first timers on how to get started with a
No-Sew fleece blanket.

You will need the following items to make a blanket:
------------------------------------------------------------------
1. a pair of sharp fabric scissors
2. sewing pins or safety pins
3. blue painter's tape
4. 1 1/3 (1.333) yard cut each of 2 pieces of matching fleece from Joann's Fabric,
or you can buy the pre-packaged and matching fleece that is 48 inches x 60 inches in size.
(*Do not get the 60 x 72 inches as that will be too big)

If you do not have time to go to Joann's, we will have extra fleece available for those who would like to
come and offer your time and labor. We appreciate any help we can get.

We will serve brunch and you are welcome to bring a plate (fruits or snacks) to the table.
We should wrap up by 2 pm.
If you have any questions, feel free to email Pam Bakas.

Patchwork Sisters Spring Brunch Fellowship

Please save the date and plan to attend the Patchwork Sisters' Spring Brunch:

Saturday, May 10, from 10:30 am at Liang Lee's residence.

We will have a wonderful time of Fellowship, Dim Sum, Testimonies
and Craft. Rachel Aw from Community Vision
International will be sharing about her ministry in India as well as
teaching us how to make jewelry.

We will also have an opportunity to be involved in community
outreach through Phoenix Rescure Mission, specifically the
Changing Lives Center that caters only to women and children.
They are in need of baby items as well as women clothings.

Please invite your unchurched friends to this event. Cost is $5.  Childcare will not be provided.  Please RSVP via Evite.  If you have not received the Evite, please contact Shirley Leung.
