2022 Fall GROW class - Forgiving What You Can't Forget by Lysa TerKeurst

 Dear Sisters

You are invited to join us at our Winter GROW class. We will be using the DVD series Forgiving What You Can't Forget by Lysa TerKeurst. Shirley Wan will be facilitating the class.

  Forgiving What You Can't Forget

In Forgiving What You Can't ForgetLysa TerKeurst wrestled through the journey of feeling stuck in a cycle of unresolved pain, playing offenses over and over in your mind. And she's discovered that, to find life-giving freedom, you have to let go of bound-up resentment and resistance to forgiving people who aren't willing to make things right.

2022 Spring Grow Class - Generosity: How God's Radical Grace Makes Us Givers

You are invited to join us for our next GROW class that will meet on Sundays from 11 am- 12:30 pm in Room B207-208, starting March 13.

The class topic is "Generosity: How God’s Radical Grace Makes Us Givers (DVD Sermon Series)" by Tim Keller and Abraham Cho (2016).  According to the Bible, generosity is so much more than just being generous with your money. The source of generosity that is truly radical is a gospel-transformed heart that has received the costly grace of God. This sermon series will look at what it means to be generous through service, through relationships, through hospitality, through the privileges and power we hold, and lastly, through our wealth.  The class will explore seven passages from the book of Luke and answer questions such as: what does it look like to be a more hospitable community, where can we find the resources to forgive those who have wronged us, and how can we become better stewards of our money.
